Darren Criss: Darren is an American actor, a singer and a musician. He grew up surrounded by music, and quickly it became apparent that he had a particular talent for anything related to it. Darren was first introduced to the world through StarKid - the production company he formed with his friends - but he is best known for his role of Blaine Anderson on Glee. Playing an openly gay teenager obviously had people assuming that he was gay himself, and Darren was comfortable enough with his sexuality at the time to dispel the rumours. Because, for Darren, it had never been a case of gay or straight - his view was that you fall in love with the person, not the gender. For this reason, it never even occurred to him that he might actually be gay until he started developing stronger feelings towards his co-star and onscreen boyfriend, Chris Colfer. It was a struggle for a long time with him - he was dating the girl that he had always thought he'd been spending the rest of his life with, Mia, and he denied his feelings for Chris to himself for a long time, until eventually both of them discovered that the feelings were mutual. Darren has honestly never been happier than he is now. His personal life and his career couldn't be better. He's not ready to come out to the world yet - nowhere near. It's odd, because he's never had a problem with hiding who he is, but being in a secret relationship with the man he's completely fallen for is ideal at the moment. Darren is a musician, and he's working on his new album - something that he's been trying to do for years - and is at the beginning of his sold out tour. The only thing that isn't so wonderful in his life at the moment is Mia. She knows why he left her - and Darren is trying to be civil and friendly towards her - he still hangs out with her occasionally - but he's finding it difficult with the amount of texts he's receiving from her. They're beginning to get a little overwhelming, some of them even disturbing. Darren has decided that he won't tell Chris about how excessive the texts are becoming in fear of how he knows he'll react - and he's beginning to wonder when - or if - it'll ever stop
